The TeddyRose Foundation supports bereaved families who have suffered a devastating baby loss, we understand the importance of safeguarding any personal data that you choose to share with us. 

The TeddyRose Foundation is committed to protecting the personal data that you provide to us. This privacy policy sets out how we use and protect your personal data.

Personal data we may collect from you:

• Full name, address, email address and contact number
• Your babies full name and DOB and/or Anniversary
• Personal baby loss experience
• Any other data to enable us to provide you with a service

What would we use your personal data for?

There are many reasons why we need to use and store your personal data, including but not limited to:

• Providing you with personal support
• Sending you a Cuddle Blanket (upon request)
• If you donate something in memory a special baby i.e. Cuddle Blanket
• Fulfilling an order placed via the shop
• Registering you for an event / fundraiser i.e. Dinner & Dance
• Any other reasons to enable us to provide you with a service

Our website contains links to other websites. These websites are owned and operated by third parties, who have their own privacy policies. We recommend that you consider those if you choose to use their website.

Sharing Your Personal Data

The personal data you share with us will only be used for very limited reasons to enable us to carry out the service you require, examples:

• Service Providers: We engage with trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services, such as delivery companies, website designers, event organisers and payment providers (PayPal). We will share your personal data with these third parties, but only to perform the service required.

• Donations in memory of a special baby: We send the donated item i.e. Cuddle Blanket to another bereaved family via a hospital bereavement unit or directly to a family. The donated item will contain the personal data you originally provided us with when you made the donation, such as the babies full name and DOB/Anniversary.

• In exceptional circumstances such as dealing with fraud, abusive online behaviour, to protect human safety or if the law requires it.

We will not otherwise disclose your personal data to anyone outside The TeddyRose Foundation without your permission.

How long will we retain your personal data?

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to provide you with the service required, or until you ask us to delete your personal data. We may also be required to retain the personal data to comply with any legal and regulatory obligations.

Data Security

We have security measures in place to protect your personal data from being accessed unlawfully. We limit access to your personal data by only allowing our trustees, volunteers and service providers (as noted above) to access your data, if required.

We have procedures in place to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and any other 3^rd parties of a breach where we are required by law to do so.
